Catch Up with Me.

2018 to 2019

Hey there, Maria Garibay here, I figured I’d start this new section of my blog by sharing a little bit of how my 2018 was like and keep you updated on how my new year 2019 has been so far.
Sooo get ready to CATCH UP WITH ME!

2018

The reason why I posted that airplane picture is because my 2018 was one hella of a trip, full of blessings and gratitude. You see, I began my 2018 with a new business opportunity, I became an Entrepreneur. Imagine a 21 year old who invested in the wine industry! Yup, that was me, I was finally legal to drink so I invested not only in the wine world, but I like to say I also invested in myself.. I decided to join this wine club business, and since I do love wine, I gave it a go! On that year I decided that my year theme would be “Getting out of my COMFORT ZONE and saying YES to new adventures, experiences, and opportunities”.
Now, if I were honest with you, I did struggle a bit with being out of my comfort zone, but I had goals to achieve, make dreams come true, and that helped me move on, and not be afraid of getting out of my comfort zone. I discovered so many things about myself, and things I never knew I could do. If you’ve never tried getting out of your comfort zone, then I TOTALLY recommend for you to do so!

Traveling & Achievements

2018- I got to travel and traveling is something I really enjoy! Let me go ahead and share with you about my VEGAS TRIP…

Las Vegas- Okay, so it was on February 2018 when I had a company event coming up, and I had to meet with my business team in Vegas. I had NEVER EVER in my LIFE gone to Las Vegas, so this was a first for me. I was happy that I was 21 because I mean, it’s Vegas..
So remember what my theme was for 2018? I had to get out of my comfort zone, therefore I traveled to Vegas ALONE… I could’ve gone with someone a friend or family member, but for my luck everyone was busy so yes, I had to travel alone to Vegas. At first I was like YOLO let’s do this! .. but once the airplane was in mid air my inner self started FREAKING OUT .. like WTH was I thinking, who travels alone to Vegas, I’m a 21 year old girl traveling alone to one of the craziest places on earth!
Okay, literally my inner self was afraid. I ended up arriving to Vegas around 2 A.M. .. right on time for the party people, I thought the airport would be lonely, because it was 2 A.M…. but umm, it’s Vegas the city that does not sleep and I had forgotten about that.
Long story short, I made it to Las Vegas safe & sound, met with my business team (Iconic Wine Beauties) and we had a BLAST in Vegas. Our company did a HUGE wine tasting with more than 20 tables with 2 or 4 different wines on each table!! It was wine heaven. Tried wines from all over the world, and had a 90’s theme party.

Arizona- During the summer, I went on a road trip with my family, and we drove from Texas to Arizona. It’s a long drive but, it is totally worth it. The view of the mountains are incredible, so here’s 2 VLOGS I did about this trip, feel free to check it out.

NOLA- First time going to Burbank, New Orleans. Business Company event, and this time I did travel with my mom, and it was her first time flying, she’s not a huge fan of airplanes, but she faced her fears! Now she loves airplanes.
I met up with my cousin Paulette, she traveled to NOLA with her mom and sister. Once we were all in NOLA it was time to get together, have some serious business mastermind sessions, and well I had so much fun with my Iconic Wine Beauties. Here’s a VLOG I did about this trip feel free to check it out. NOLA VLOG

Overall, I achieved so much in the 2018 year, choosing to get out of my comfort zone was a smart decision. I was able to help others with a new business opportunity, giving time and financial freedom, mentoring others to setting goals and dreams, started a soccer academy that helps kids and teenagers make their dreams come true in my hometown with my family, and even created a new Latino Wine Club team called Vino Familiar and had a very fun Launching Party.

I want you to know that I’m just a simple small city girl who decided to go for it.
I am still not where I want to be, but I am a lot closer. Following your dreams is a journey, life itself is a journey. Therefore, if you have a dream, know that dreams come true, it takes goals and planning, but that is why I have decided to share my journey with you, my ups and downs. Also, know that I am here to help you, if you have a dream, but you have NO CLUE how to even start to make it come true, feel free to contact me, I’d be happy to help you!

If you completed reading this blog thank you, and congratulations, you caught up with me. 😁💯 Let The Journey of 2019 begin!
